Voicemail
OfficeIPLink™ PBX Systems come with Voicemail as a standard feature.
Voicemail can be implemented on each extension or not used at at. You may even decide just to have one Voicemail box and only be used for after hours callers or when the phone goes unanswered.
Received Voicemails can be accessed via a Web Interface, or directly via the phone. Your phone will indicate when you have Voicemails waiting. On most phones, the voicemail is available by the press of a button on the phone.
The Voicemail utilses a few message types which can be set which include
- Busy Message - This message will be provided to callers when you are on the phone.
- Unavailable Message - This message will be provided to callers when your phone is not answered after a pre-determined period.
- Temporary Message - This message you would set when you are on leave or away from the office for extended periods. This message overrides the Busy and Unavailable message, and would normally tell callers when you are back in the office, and possible alternative ways of contacting you or the business. When you return from extended leave, you delete the temporary message and your Busy and Unavailable messages return to operation as normal.
