Voicemail to Email
This is probably one of the most asked for features to be implemented. As part of the OfficeIPLink™ PBX, it allows Voicemails left by callers to be sent via Email as .WAV attachments. What this means is that they can be played by a variety of computers and devices.
For businesses that provide Remote Web Access to their mail system for employees, they can receive their Voicemails via this mechanism. For employees that have Windows Mobile and/or Blackberry mobile phones, they could receive emails with the attachments that they can listen to on their mobile phone. It is understood that many other mobile phone brands can be setup to receive email, and play .WAV files, but we do not maintain a list or support these phones.
This ability to easily access Voicemail improves business efficiency, especially for staff that are not always in the office. Almost everyone has returned to the office after a day out in the field or even a lunch only to return and find a voicemail left several hours ago, reminding you that an item was due half an hour before your walked back in the door.
You also have the choice to have your Voicemail delivered to both your phone and your email, so that you can scan your phone for urgent Voicemails when you are out, but still have them to listen to when you return to the office.
