With OfficeIPLink™ PBX, you have a very powerful conference facility. You can setup various virtual conference rooms, which can be accessed directly from extensions (which means staff can be in a conference from their desk), and also from external calls, using a direct number or they can call the main number and be transferred into the conference.

For clients that are using ISDN, or even VoIP, you can assign a direct number for the conference which you could provide to all external participants. Many clients who used external conference facilities literally costing them hundreds of dollars a month, now use the conference facilities that are part of the OfficeIPLink™ PBX functionality.

Your conferences can be open conferences, or you can setup them up with PIN numbers (great for senior management or financial conferences).

You also have the ability to turn recording on or off for the conferences. This means that the recording can be played back to allow meeting minutes to be accurately completed.

Other OfficeIPLink™ PBX users have used this facility to provide product training for clients, hosting 10-20 clients. It is possible to setup a local phone number in each state, allowing the client to dial in directly to the conference. Usually they combine it with one of the remote whiteboard or remote desktop products such as GotoMeeting.

This means that training can be done without leaving your office, and for your clients, they can have the training without leaving theirs. The use of two proven technologies, makes it simple and reliable, which means ultimately it looks professional to your clients.
